This Blog is about building our new home on Whidbey Island. Our designer and builder is Brad Hankins, doing business as Design Build Brad. This small 870 sq. ft. home is made up of three buildings and incorporates sustainable building practices, including solar hot water collectors, roof water collection system and native plant restoration. Each of the three buildings are built extensively of recycled materials.

It’s really amazing! This happened once to my roof. And until now, I didn’t know how it happens – I mean to form the snow that way. XD Well I hope you cleaned it right away. Snow can damage your roof, especially when they started to melt. Anyway, I followed your blog regarding your barn, and it’s good to see that it turned out great. At last, the work is finally done, and I hope you have a lot of good experience there.
