This Blog is about building our new home on Whidbey Island. Our designer and builder is Brad Hankins, doing business as Design Build Brad. This small 870 sq. ft. home is made up of three buildings and incorporates sustainable building practices, including solar hot water collectors, roof water collection system and native plant restoration. Each of the three buildings are built extensively of recycled materials.
