Here's our guesthouse with a new deck happening. Although Brad worked late, well into the dark of the night, he didn't quite finish it up. However, it is far enough along that we are excited about it and pleased with the results. The second picture shows how the wood is dropped between two pieces of angle iron, holding it firmly, without nails or screws.

The deck looks good, seeing that Brad started it in the dead of night! If he could do it that good in the dark, I can just imagine how well he can do it at day. :D

That was quite a feat! That much work and in the dark no less! Very impressive! Don’t forget to stain the wood though. It’ll keep it protected from the harsh weather.

I love the style of your guesthouse. It somewhat reminds me of traditional Japanese homes. :) The small deck has a warm and alluring design. It matched well with the wooden glass door you have there.
