Karra & Dennis

Seeing Karra and Dennis again, after several years, was wonderful. Unfortunately, their son (now 6) didn't come along because they were having a business meeting with Brad and didn't want the distraction. However, we haven't seen him since he was an infant, so we were disappointed. We're looking forward to the next visit -- with all three of them!

drop by to deliver a house warming gift and take a quick tour.  With the sun out all afternoon I had the end doors wide open to the patio for a taste of how wonderful the summer days will be in our new space.  Thanks Larry and Betty for the perfect gift -- red trimmed pot and red geranium.  I'm definitely in love with red these days and the hit of spring was perfect!

Richard Epstein came for a home tour today and then he and Brad were headed out for a catch-up lunch.  Years ago, when I first moved to Langley, Eppy (as he was then called) remodeled the building I owned on 6th Street.  Then, some time after that, Richard hired Brad to work on his construction crew.  We all have a long and pleasing history together.

We ordered a new mirror from The Island Framery and enjoyed the company of Lynae (owner of The Island Framery) in the process. She was generous and delivered the mirror and then stayed for dinner and a wonderfully entertaining evening of conversation.
